Superintendent's Message

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we end the First Quarter at the high school and that means grades will be coming home. We are working on the parent porthole for the ARIES program so parents will be able to monitor their children's grades on any mobile device. I apologize for this and it is my hope we will have it up and running soon. The great news is that for the second month in row both elementary schools reached our attendance goal of 93% and were awarded a pop-corn snack. I want to thank the parents not only for getting their children to school but making sure their weekly reading logs are getting completed. Keep up the great work!!

We are looking for school board member for Area 1 which is our Grindstone Community and I would like to thank Mr. Mota for his service to the school district. I want to emphasize that it is essential that all of the communities in our school district be represented.  School Boards make and set policy, authorize and budget programs, and work with the Superintendent to manage school district operations. If you are interested, please call me and I would love to sit down with you and discuss how we can improve services to the students and communities we serve. Very shortly you will be receiving surveys as we are already planning for next year, they will be on colored paper and asking a variety topics and questions. Please return these questionnaires to your child's school teacher or to the district office.

As we head into the later part of October and have Halloween coming up, I encourage everyone to be safe and have fun. Look for flyers and check our website regarding up and coming events at the school. Until next time, thank you for all your support.

Sincerely and with PRIDE,

Kevin Triance
